As part of Month In Chinatown 2012, the Chinatown Merchants Association’s Lunar New Year Festival took place last night (January 14, 2012) in Chinatown. Maunakea St., Pauahi St. and Smith St. were closed to traffic for this street fair.

The Chinese year 4710 “Year Of The Dragon” begins on Jan. 23, 2012. Kung Hei Fat Choy!
